FIFA 21 went on sale on Friday 9 to the general public and, within hours of its launch, there were 3.6 million players who fully got into the most famous soccer video game.

Through a statement, EA Sports announced that this year there were 2.3 million users globally who enjoyed early access to the game thanks to EA Play. Also, there are more than 3 million teams created to date.

Aaron McHardy, EA’s Executive Producer, said to the press “Playing with friends and family is a big part of what makes EA Sports FIFA so enjoyable and this year we have added a variety of ways to team up on the virtual pitch using VOLTA FOOTBALL and FUT.” He also said that new features have been added to Career Mode, which is focused on the feedback from gamers.

The innovations added to Career Mode this year bring additional depth to games. Now we can make transfers and training sessions. And we have more ways than ever to monitor team growth and make it easier for users to begin their managerial career.

Features like Interactive Game Simulation and Player Development are important to be in command of the season. While improved opponents’ AI offers new systems to create more informed AI decisions such as marking, sweeps, passes, and dribbles. Smarter gameplay increases the chances of scoring a goal through the new attack dynamics system. These enhancements seek to elevate player decision-making to new levels and reward creativity and control across the field. All this has the objective to recreate the reality of soccer experience through attributes such as Position Personality, Directed Runs, and Agile Dribbling.
